DCP Responds to Getting "Fired" from the Review

DCP's comment about the MI "leaking like a sieve" has led to be review some of the old intel I was given, and it's pretty remarkable. Especially in terms of speculating on what will happen in the future, I noticed that I had old intel from a few years back saying that FAIR had been given funding through "backdoor channels," meaning that Church leaders helped facilitate the cash transfer. (Or, at least, that's the impression my source gave me.)

And what about that whole affair with Oaks going to meet with Scott Gordon? It was inconclusive at the time, but does the new admission now vindicate the intel? I.e., did Gordon lie about what happened? I think that, at this point in time, we have to assume that his having lied is a very real possibility. Obviously, Dan Peterson was lying when he said--repeatedly--that my informant's intel was "loony" or whatever else.

Sorry about the late response to this, but I was at the Mormon Stories conference yesterday, and no one mentioned it at all. As someone already posted, John Dehlin did link this thread on his Facebook page (that's how I found it) but that was after the conference was over.

A couple of people have mentioned the financial-related stuff that was mentioned in the email, and I had at least one person ask me about it via PM as well. So, take a look at this:

So, rich donors contribute to the cause but have zero sway for the product they are buying? That's just too hard to believe. DCP has not been entirely honest in his dealings with his fellow man. That much seems clear.

But it leaves his previous bouts with viciousness and outrage unexplained. I've read him for while now, long before I signed up and think of him as Ray the Berserker.
