I love the part where I use bcspace's own methodology, arrive at the correct (if inconvenient) conclusion, then he shows up, yells at Tobin for a second, and disappears without addressing my statement.

The problem is that church leadership won't say what is doctrine and what is not. They could make it easier on people by actually acting like prophets seers and revelators.

FAIL

The Church has given clear instructions on how to determine doctrine. Use them.

OK space cowboy, given that deification has been consistently published in official LDS publications, answer me why Hinckley lied when asked if Mormon believe that men will become gods?

I'll list three options:
1. He knew it would be bad PR to state it.
2. He doesn't believe it.
3. Were he to confirm such an explicit belief it would make cosying up to Christian Faiths that much harder.

What do you mean false doctrine?
I mean man is not God nor ever will be. Our role in the everlastings is not as God and we will never have that role. Sure, we'll assist God in whatever he asks of us, but the false doctrine here is that men will be Gods unto themselves, having trillions of children with their wives, and creating worlds for those spirit children to inhabit. This is a completely false and evil doctrine taught in the Church and is used by the enemies of the Church to belittle the gospel and the truth. It needs to be stamped out because of that.

I agree with you that man is NEVER God. But I disagree that in exaltation we will NOT be continuing the seeds and having spirit body offspring for billions of years while the earth cools and forms and prepares all elements and resources. You wholly reject D&C 132?
I do not believe man will ever create his own world or worlds for his children. I clearly delineate between man and God in the eternities. Though we are made in his likeness and image we are not the same being as is God. His DNA, if he calls his that, and ours is never mingled.

Uh, no. I never said that. I believe Celestial beings form spirit children. They formed us in fact. That is why the teaching that God is literally our spirit father and Lucifer is Jesus's spirit brother are both false. Jesus Christ is the only begotten of the Father. Also, the teaching about a Heavenly Mother is false since those that formed our spirit beings were not God, only Celestial beings working under the direction of God. This is the meaning of exaltation after all. To become part of this eternal cycle of renewal as Celestial beings.

So you do accept that celestial beings get their own mansion/world. One that they do not create even if they might assist in some way. Like:

Um could we maybe have those mountains end up over here so this river flows down there please.

What ev.

all that takes is a good backhoe, and some concrete. Dams go up every day doing exactly that.
(Nevo, Jan 23) And the Melchizedek Priesthood may not have been restored until the summer of 1830, several months after the organization of the Church.

No, I didn't say that either. I don't accept that Celestial beings get their own planet. When we are exalted, we will inherit the Earth. This world will be our home.
