Who is Selek?

Who is this person? Every once in a while I will lurk on MD&D and this Selek douchebag is always on the attack, or bullying somebody. Does Selek ever post anything that is not attacking someone or being rude to someone? I have never seen Selek add any thoughtful discourse to anything on that board. Does he post on this board?

Apparently occasionally. I never notice him, and he seems to behave himself here.

I have NEVER seen a meaningful response from him. I would guess his responses are 90% attack 10% non negative (notice I didn't say positive). He has become one of the untouchables over there. He, Pahoran, Will, and Wade are allowed to be as nasty as they want with out being banned. Non members are banned at an insinuation. Most of those four don't post here because of the level playing field. They can't cry to a Mod to save them. I don't think Selek posts here, but if I remember correctly he has a clever stalker that has adopted his moniker.

I think there are quite a few posters over there that try and hold civil discourse. In fact I think there are more that are respectful than not. What happens there is the "Seleks" respond to everything, so while the number of asses is not a majority, the number of posts by them is.

I am an ass and rarely post anything of value.

That said, I'm still far superior to the MAD selek.

Im the new and improved selek, with 62% less hot air and 231% more objectivity. My vocabulary isn't nearly as refined as the MAD selek, I have to admit.

I was lurking in on there the other day and saw how they were piling on you for what I thought were legtimate questions and comments. Glad to see you made over here.
