Just for fun: Tribute to the internet tough guy

Post by _mercyngrace »

You know him. Maybe you've been him. Perhaps you've argued your piece until the wee hours, mocking, bullying, belittling in an effort to flex your intellectual muscles and demonstrate the power and prowess of your keen wit. You've reached through the keyboard and grabbed your opponent by the throat, thrown him to the floor with your words, and come off conqueror. Or so you think.

If you are an internet tough guy or you know one (and we all do), please do him or her the favor of letting him known how he's viewed by the world at large. Just today, pay him this little tribute.

My favorite was the guy with the nunchucks. He's my hero.

"You want me to show you tough? I'll show you tough."

It just perfectly describes the attitude of so many people I encounter online. And then, like the third "tough guy" in the video, Mr. Man comes soaring in out of nowhere only to miss the target entirely.

(Not that such has ever happened to me... okay, maybe a couple of times...)

Yeah, none of you are as tough as I am. Thanks for sharing the video. I learned so much from it.

Reading this gave me a flashback to calling someone on this board a "internet tough guy". Turns out it was bcspace's claims of weightlifting strength that set off my BS detector. So I called him a internet tough guy.

Some how I feel just a little bit better about myself

If Gerald Bradford takes over YouTube, then we won't have these kinds of cutting edge martial arts techniques to help us deal with attackers.

That's funny right there. I don't care who you are.
