Says the resignation hike has 150 attendees. Wonder if they also had a drum circle and met later on as a smaller group at Denny's.

I'm guessing Romney cares...

As a Mormon, maybe. As a presidential candidate...he doesn't care at all. The american public as heard of episcopals resigning, catholics resigning etc. Mormons resigning has no impact on the american public who have far more on their plate. However, it is a good publicity stunt for John Larsen.

You discovered a manuscript in Joseph's hand that confirms he wrote the Book of Mormon? or did you find a manuscript in sidney's hand? Outside of that, you would not have found any truth at all. But you did find doubt.

Why would you need that when there is lots of evidence that shows it was written in the 19th century. Now why stop there when we can look at so much more like the Book of Abraham. Best to get as much information as you can from all areas.

Look at the bright side.

It's 150 more people that don't want to put up with people like you.

The word is getting out!!

For what gain?

99% of the time, why me, your defense of DCP and LDS Inc really has no impact. It is rather pathetic to watch.

I don't think the news of 150 people discovering that the religion the Presidential hopeful subscribes to is a pile of baloney which mistreats gay people and lies rather a lot about its own history is the best thing for his campaign. I may of course be wrong.

It isn't going to matter at all. People use this kind of strategy to gain publicity. But it doesn't matter for most people that 200 Mormons resign in one day. How many catholics have fell away after the sex abuse scandal? Or episcopals because of gay marriage?

By the way, the US has been lying about its history from its very inception. Or should I say reinterpreting it. It happens with almost every public organization. However it is not lying to omit something.

http://www.LDS.org/manual/gospel-principles/chapter-31-honesty

Lying is intentionally deceiving others. Bearing false witness is one form of lying. The Lord gave this commandment to the children of Israel: “Thou shalt not bear false witness against thy neighbour” (Exodus 20:16). Jesus also taught this when He was on earth (see Matthew 19:18). There are many other forms of lying. When we speak untruths, we are guilty of lying. We can also intentionally deceive others by a gesture or a look, by silence, or by telling only part of the truth. Whenever we lead people in any way to believe something that is not true, we are not being honest.

The Lord is not pleased with such dishonesty, and we will have to account for our lies. Satan would have us believe it is all right to lie. He says, “Yea, lie a little; … there is no harm in this” (2 Nephi 28:8). Satan encourages us to justify our lies to ourselves. Honest people will recognize Satan’s temptations and will speak the whole truth, even if it seems to be to their disadvantage.

How about you take some time away from the message boards and learn about the religion you're pretending to defend.
