Droopy, you are a racist but I'm afraid you are too ignorant to realize it. I only hope that your insults of the American Indian culture reflect your ideas only and not the majority of LDS members. Most people are insulted when you say they are inferior to you. Stand among a group of Native Americans and tell them that you are white and therefore superior to them, and check back with us.

The reference is the Book of Mormon. That is what we are discussing. It is about the American Indians. Mormonism is an insult to the American Indian culture. Don't insult my intelligence by pretending that you were talking about something different from what I addressed to you in my questions and comments.

funny. The culture worked just fine for thousands and thousands of years. You need to read some books on Native American culture that were written more recently than 1830, and were written by people who actually studied the cultures.

1. What culture? What specific culture did I mention anywhere?

2. If you are here speaking of American Indian culture, yes, it "worked" if by that you mean various groups of Amerindians survived to pass on that culture to their descendents. Viking culture also "worked," as did Spartan, Mongol, and Aztec culture. What do you mean that it "worked?"

Clearly then, for you, allied cultures grounded for thousands of years to various degrees in the glory and honor of fighting and dying bravely in battle, genocidal warfare, slavery, cannibalism, human sacrifice, and conquering the lands of other Indians, "works." Viking culture "worked," but perhaps not for many other Europeans. Samurai culture "worked." Is that a culture you would feel comfortable within, or, especially, living under?

What about outlaw Biker culture, helmet? The Hell's Angels, Pagans, Warlocks etc. Does that culture "work?" Explain your answer, please?

In other words, children, a determination of inferiority as to culture qua culture, has no necessary relation to racism at all. It may be quite rationally and empirically grounded.

Now that helmet has been caught red-handed lying through his teeth regarding this statement, and willfully altering the text, with the connivance of the other main protagonists here, the thread is not effectively over the cliff.
