Man, this is like Elvis sightings:

Dinner at Dee’s

Bryce Haymond

Location: Salt Lake City, UT (Dee’s Family Restaurant)
Purpose: Dinner

A few members from a ward met the Prophet at Dee’s Family Restaurant yesterday evening. How blessed we are to have a living prophet in our midst, and to see him so often! Many members around the world do not have such an opportunity.

See zoepapilia’s tweet.

Geez. The poor guy. Can't even eat at a frickin' restaurant without his fans tweeting the information to his Obsessive Stalkers.

Once I heard him talk about being interrupted at a restaurant. He wasn't pleased.

One gentleman responds effusively to an account about a President Monson sighting:

Corbin Allred Says:

Thank you SO much for posting this. It brightened my day and brought the spirit! I got the chills and teary eyed when I read it, the man is amazing, positively called of God to lead us today. Thanks again, brother.

Of course, we should all keep the words of Bryce and Brad in mind at this point:

We Don’t Worship the Prophet
Some people have mistakenly understood that we worship the prophet, such as Joseph Smith, Jr., or President Monson. This is not the case. We worship God the Father, and His Son, Jesus Christ. We revere and respect the prophets as messengers sent by God to deliver His message to us, and we try to follow the word of God as delivered through them by the Holy Spirit.

I would say this is important for his readers to remember, since the site itself might encourage people to think otherwise.

How fitting that Mormonism is now reduced to an elaborate game of "Where's Waldo?"

No one would mistake the gushing and ecstasy of "I saw him!" for worship, would they?

Oh, come now. You know this is pretty fun. These guys are great. Like post-mission puppy dogs. They used to chase potential golden contacts through the streets of El Salvador, and now they can obsess over the latest rest stop visit of President Monson.

I think it's kind of touching, really.

They show the Huntsman jet that Monson flies in.

They show him making out with old ladies.

Man, they have numerous pictures of him with elderly widows. I guess he wasn't kidding about the widows.

I hope everyone can now plainly see where your real motives lie, and the red herring about "better apologetics".

The last entry is March 30, 2011. Right about the time of the Semi-Annual General Conference. I wonder what happened....
