It is better to be a warrior in a garden, than a gardener at war.

Some of us, on the other hand, actually prefer a religion that includes some type of correlation with reality.

Because it is no longer apparent we forget that the Book of Mormon took place on an island. Resources are scarce on an island period. I believe the Andes Mountains were somewhat abundant but still you would make do with what's at hand. The Book of Mormon never speaks of lots and lots of horses. Only the royals had horses and they are never mentioned in battle. Even if they did not harvest every dead horse to render this and that from it there would be so few to find you probably never will.

And bones left out in the open would get harvested by ants and grubs and what ever. South America has lots of whatevers. Yes I am saying the entire Book of Mormon took place in the Andes Mountains and surrounding coasts and wildernesses. The Amazon was flooded at least until the earth was made to shrink at the crucifixion of Christ and blew out the Yucatan crater that covered the entire area in thick darkness for three days. Then the Amazon BEGAN to drain but probably real slow.

Zarahemla is Cajamarca, Peru. Go dig around and prove it to the world.
Man! I wish I had a billion cash and had the wish of my heart to go explore and prove all things. Sort of like how Alma wanted the wings of an angel. A billion cash would give me wings.

Tell me Nighlion, do you make your own clothing as commanded in the D&C?

D&C 42:40 And again, thou shalt not be proud in thy heart; let all thy garments be plain, and their beauty the beauty of the work of thine own hands;

Let's see. The NA at least were making the BEAUTY with their own hands now weren't they?!

That sort of thinking is how funny religion gets started. When people do not have any light and must interpret every word spoken as relevant for all time. Continuous revelation, being taught of God, in the moment, is the right way.

I have never been constrained by the Spirit to make my own clothes. It was good advice at the time. Not so good today. All those kids in China need to keep busy. Perhaps so they will pine for a better life and faith and truth might spring forth for a solace from all their oppressions. Ta da!

Nightlion, you are a strange person.

I learned that you can make gelatin out of cow bone marrow and pig skin.

Nightlion,

I'm so glad you brought this up because you know what is one of the coolest things on this earth? Wool! I love wool. Just think of the excellent wools coming out of South America!

You seem like a reasonably intelligent person. Why not do something useful with your life instead of wasting your time on this type of silly, silly, crap.

Are you saying Peru is an Island?
Or that Peru used to be an island?
