It has been a very long time since I have thought that God has any say at all in who we will end up with in the eternities; instead it is we who make that decision. But God, the great spiritual physician, understands the spiritual diseases that will afflict us far better than we do. God knows that when it comes down to it we need to have faith that the program works before we'll be in any kind of condition to carry on an eternal relationship. He won't prevent the eternal relationship; we will prevent it ourselves.

Yeah, when my wife told me she had voted for Obama I took all her stuff and unloaded it on the sidewalk. But she cried so much I finally had pity for her and let her back in the house.

Just kidding! Though I'm serious about her voting for Obama. It'll be interesting to see who she votes for this time, assuming she lets me know which candidate she votes for.
