To be clear, I don't mind when the church looks dumb. What I do mind are people making baseless claims and then treating us like arseholes when we ask for evidence.
Here are two examples of making claims with evidence:
1. Dr. Scratch came here with claims that Dan Peterson was about to lose his position at the MI. He had evidence (emails) and he was correct - the events transpired as he claimed they would, within a mere couple of days.
2. I claimed that the LDS Church still allowed members to submit names of Holocaust victims and survivors. I gave evidence (a blog post with pictures of me doing just that) that supported my claim.
Nortinski, you came here making claims of holding a video of Mitt Romney in the temple and have absolutely no evidence that you have said video. So...

Accuracy, Equality. Moving it is not the same deleting it. It can be moved back after it's been moved; it can't be resurrected after it's been deleted.
Um, yeah, that's what I said. Moving is not the same as deleting it, but it has precisely the same effect as if it had been deleted, at least until it is put back (if it ever is). If it is never put back but remains in moderator forum limbo for time and all eternity, then it has the exact same effect as deleting it. You are playing word games. (As you are with the DCP "reassigned" versus "fired" distinction.

I've been "reassigned"; I've never been "fired". That's a very important distinction when applied to employment. Dan didn't care for his new assignment, and essentially declined his reassignment. But to say he was fired is not accurate. At least, he wasn't fired in the email that was posted here. Maybe he was fired elsewhere, I don't know.
No one's stopping you from commenting on the subject matter of the thread in question, Equality. Just not on that thread.
(Nevo, Jan 23) And the Melchizedek Priesthood may not have been restored until the summer of 1830, several months after the organization of the Church.
