Hey There Joe,

I didn't catch the meaning of your parenthetical comment that mentioned me. It looked like you were saying that I think Joseph Smith only had sex with Emma, which can't be what you mean, since you've read my Fanny Alger chapter.

Don,

I apologize for writing that you did not acknowledge Smith with having sex with other women. A very stupid move and poor thinking on my part.

I was not thinking. My bad.

I'm going to buy it because I know it has transcript testimony from my great...grandma who married Joseph after Joseph sent my great...grandpa on a mission.
Wondering if there a lot of other hidden gems?

Here is the amazon link if anyone wants to order it.

Willy,

Who is you ancestor? Quite a few people are doing research on Smith's wives. I have one friend who has found a few more married women that Smith jumped in the sack with. "It's good to be king!"

I have the book and read much of it. John Dinger does an excellent job with not being allowed to see the minutes in the CHL.

Their is a huge story happening with this book. Robin Jensen is claiming that Dinger should have turned over his transcription and let the CHL personnel correct his transcription. John should have done this even though the CHL would not and currently does not allow scholars access to the minutes? What planet is Robin living on?

This upcoming review by Jensen (could it have been written by committee?) seems to be nothing more than an attack on Signature Books and its authors/editors.

Who needs the Maxwell Institute when you have the apologist in Salt Lake City, a.k.a. the Joseph Smith Papers Project? These guys can no longer claim to be scholars with this kind of crap.

Robin's review was written solely by him, and the supposition that this is part of some organized attack on Sig is nothing but the silly fantasies of Ron Priddis.
You're absolutely vile and obnoxious paternalistic air of intellectual superiority towards anyone who takes issue with your clear misapprehension of core LDS doctrine must give one pause. - Droopy
