Where are the Nortinski threads?
Did they get removed?

At his request. I think he is reflecting on his planned action and its implications.

my guess is that he wanted weekend buzz with little trail at the beginning of the work week when security officials at the COB come back to work.

Re: Where are the Nortinski threads?
The ridiculous thing is that actual images of Nortinski's post have now been reposted on this board here:
viewtopic.php?p=609136#p609136
And they are still there. In public, and on this board, Dr. Shades has indicated that he did the original 'thread hiding' at the request of the OP (Nortinski) in order to avoid the risk of someone (presumably Nortinski) being killed. Shortly afterwards, Nortinski popped up again and essentially made the same statements in another thread that (according to Shades) had put him at risk of his life.
It seems to me that all that has been gained by the mods' intervention is that an exhibitionist has been allowed to indulge himself in a major bout of self-dramatizing, and the board management has been made to look ridiculous.
I know that Shades felt he was acting for the best of all possible reasons in hiding the original thread. But now that it is clear that this served no purpose whatsoever, because the original material is still available and Nortinski won't shut up, please let us have the original thread back and leave the rest to Nortinski to sort out.

A few of the Mormon folks (and maybe even an exmo or two) have gotten their magic panties in a bunch over Dr. Shades honoring my request to remove an entire thread that I had started.
I'd like to say that I'm sorry that the removal of said thread upset some of you but I just don't care enough to apologize.
You're all welcome to re-post my original comments (as LDSToronto has done) and chat about it all you want.

edited, to reduce the clutter of Norts, and to emphasize that he wants his comments released to the public again.

The moderators don't answer such questions here. It's none of your business. Just pretend like nothing ever happened. MDB has its very own memory hole.

Anyone who was or is a Mormon should be used to such a policy. At least the moderator DID answer the question. That's more than you'll often get from LDS Inc.

Luckily, not all of us on this board have had their sense of what is reasonable warped by years of allegiance to a religion obsessed with obedience and unquestioning respect for authority.

So...you've never simply bowed your head and said "Yes" to unreasonable oaths and then pantomimed your own death several times?
Lucky.
