He's the kind of person who would find this poster "intellectually serious":
I have a sneaking suspicion that your definition of "intellectually serious" doesn't extend too far beyond Michael Moore or Bill Maher.
But then, most people on the Left long ago abandoned the fundamental concept of serious philosophical, analytical thought as a necessary feature of their embrace of ideology, which has shown itself throughout the 20th century to be, like water, the great solvent.

Here's a hint: You are not intellectually serious. You try so hard to fit in with the big boys, and no one is buying it because you can't pull it off. You're out of your element, and you're too dense to know it.

Maybe the left abandoned the pretense of serious, analytical thought. You're still pretentious, but there's no sign of anything serious from you. Not since I've been here.

OK, so you are yet another adolescentized intellectual poseur here to engage defenders of the church and conservatives in adolescent cut-down contests and engage your anti-Mormon and leftist comrades in a great Bacchanalia of in-group mental masturbation.
Please excuse me if I leave you to your own devices.

ROFL. It's like someone did an extreme Mad Lib: "OK, so you are yet another adjective adjective noun here to verb positively connotative noun and noun in adjective adjective noun and engage your adjective and adjective pejorative noun in a adjective pretentious noun of adjective adjective noun."
Please excuse me if I leave you to your own devices.
My devices at least have no need of a flood of adjectives.

Read that sentence to yourselves a few times and then ask yourself who really is the "adolescentized intellectual poseur" engaging in "adolescent cut-down contests"? Hint: it's not Bob.

Maybe I've been too harsh with Mr. Blood, but I don't like liars, and I don't like unwarranted pretentiousness. As long as he exhibits both traits, I can't take him seriously.
