I'll acknowledge that this board seems to be a lot more about personal attacks rather than engaging on issues, but you appear to be one the worst offenders.
No, I'm one of the least offenders, and one of the bean bags, along with Wade, Will, bc, DCP etc. who have taken most of the ad hominem shots. I've given back as good as I've gotten, here and there, no doubt, but as probably 95% of countless attempts over the last seven years at serious, civil discourse here have been from the beginning, rebuffed, there's been little left to lean on but defending oneself against the constant character smearing.
As I said, I try to call it like I see it and so I have very little respect for those who always toe the party line (e.g., I like Bill O'Reilly even though I frequently disagree with him, but I detest Sean Hannity). So tell me Droopy, has Schryver said anything on this board or elsewhere that you disagree with? What's your view of Emma Smith?
Will admitted to having used language in an ad hominem fashion that was not appropriate. He had. So have I. So have most of the anti-Mormons in here, and in
far greater profusion and intensity than Will ever has or likely ever will.
He also said that they were PG rated, and in this, too, as I checked the sources provided by his own critics, he was accurate, and again, while a vast majority of personal attacks in this forum, including a wealth of it directed against Will, is of the X rated variety.
