Liz3564, it makes perfect sense. My wife feels precisely the same way, which is why polygamy is so abhorrent to her.

But does that mean we should just ignore the women who will never have that emotional tie, if we enforce celestial monogamy?

I'm for 100% equality with women too.

If God can kill people and not have it be sin, then why in the world can't God command someone to take a plural wife, and not have that be sin? Why is one not a sin and the other is a sin?

Ya, I'm still waiting for a coherent answer to this one, too.

For the record,I would not participate in polygamy, nor would I want my wife participating in taking multiple husbands, commandment or not.

Unless it was with supermodels.

So you would feel just as charitable if the situation were reversed and it was your wife who was commanded to take a second husband?

Male super models?
(Nevo, Jan 23) And the Melchizedek Priesthood may not have been restored until the summer of 1830, several months after the organization of the Church.

Me, I'll take females. My wife, if she takes a female harem then I know my calling and election have been made sure.

Remember the OP: wife gets to choose male supermodels. You get to spend the rest of eternity comparing your male apparatus to multiple male models' male apparatus.

Should be fun for all, yes?
