I think the story of Henry Jacobs is heartbreaking! It was one of the first stories I read regarding Joseph Smith and polygamy and it infuriated me. I just cannot understand why Henry put up with all that he did.

Yes. She is in there three times with different data each time though on one of them it shows her with all three husbands. I think this is more of an issue of people doing temple work for whomever they want.

I agree with Bob on this.
With all the expensive resources the church has, this should be easy to control and eliminate (duplicates upon duplicates). I think it's more a matter of them not caring if members are just doing busy work in the temple and going through for names that have already had their temple work done for them numerous times.
If temple work was really that important you would think that they would have really tight controls and be purging the roles all of the time. What is written down here is written up there you know...
