Let me put it this way: if one posts cheap shots about he MDD mods or posters on this board and mock the LDS church and then go to MDD and act like a reasonable person toward the church, that person will probably be gone with their first mistake. Such is a poster's hypocrisy on this board.
Actually, I was banned from the catholic taliban site for posting on MDD. Someone linked my posts from MDD to the catholic taliban site, it was read by a mod, and gone I went. But that was not the only reason. Anyone making sense about Mormonism on the catholic site will eventually be banned.

Not really. There is no love lost between this site and that site. And the posters here know this. And when they are banned from MDD, they come here to moan about it and get a group hug.

When your concept of the universe depends on the adventures of pre-Columbian Hebrew tapir ranchers in Guatemala who simultaneously practiced the Law of Moses and Protestant Christianity, and a demigod from Kolob who brought the human race into mortality 6,000 years ago in Missouri, and the power to rub magic cooking oil on the heads of sick people being restored by a Yankee treasure hunter, you have pretty much forfeited the right to use "[catholic taliban]" as a term of derision for other people.

I always found Juilann to be very mean, but have to assume that that is just an online persona and that in real life she is probably really a good person. And with this kind of post, you will remain banned. You just made my point in my previous post. Juliann is not mean on MDD or in real life. But she is tough on the boards.
It is my honest opinion Why Me. It was my perception at the time. Perhaps a better way of putting it would be to say that I found some of her posts mean spirited. I was NEVER formally banned, nor was any reason given.
If I remember rightly I did try to converse by pm with Juliann at one point, but she never responded.

The catholic board allows its members to literally mock other faiths. MDD does not allow such a thing. But on the taliban site, it is perfectly allowed to mock and bash the LDS church. Now of course, there may have been a change of heart of the moderator because Romney is Mormon and not good to call a presidential candidate a cult member.

Banning people for what they say and do on other forums is just as creepy and stalkerish as trying to keep them from viewing the board via IP-block.

I have no idea who actually "runs" the board. I thought Juliann was the original owner, but I'm not really sure.
