So, one may call the union between two same sex lovers anything one wishes; however, such acts will never result in a sperm being planted in an egg. NEVER!
I know you're trolling, but this is a common argument from the religious right. Marriage does not require the ability to procreate. We allow senior citizens to marry. We allow marriage between an impotent man and a barren woman. We even allow marriages of convenience. We do not have marriage police who investigate couples to ensure they are procreating.
Is it okay for me to say you are trolling ? However, this is a common argument among agnostics, atheists and liberals. It would be pointless of me to mention that in the Bible there is not one, not two, but three elderly couples which had a child. There is no record anywhere of any man/man or woman/woman couple ever having babies because of their sexual abilities or desires between each other. Marrige is an IDEAL. It may not play out perfectly (humans are not perfect). However, the foundation needs to be laid as the ideal or the institution is currupted from the start... It is not make believe or a game. It is supposed to be a TOTAL commitment between a couple, God, and any children they are blessed with by God. Homosexuality (which is a new name) or Sodomy (which is the historic nominclature) is not an IDEAL situaltion by any stretch of the imagination. There is nothing at wrong with close friendships and or making a pledge of unending loyalty and trust. I see nothing wrong with two people of the same sex living together as best friends and sharing their wealth. However, that is not marriage.
Good for you, LittleNipper! As soon as you want to talk about marriage as a legal relationship in positive law, instead of your religious dogma about marriage, you'll say so, won't you?
To hell with god and the Bible! Out with religion! You religious nuts have no right to trample the rights of others. You Christians love to demonize those who reject your jezzus by calling us anti-Christ and describe us with horns and other awfull things, ready to be burned by your Christian fire and murderous Christ coming down out of the sky killing everyone in sight who refuses to obey him.
As I say, take your jezzus and shove him where the sun don't shine. I want nothing to do with your jezzus or your bloody Bible and the silly stories contained therein. You Christians are going to have a fight on your hands if you keep on trying to deny gays the right to marry. We will fight for our rights. Christians are always trying to deny the rights of others but that will no longer be the norm. The Supreme Court will soon rule in favor of gay marriage and to that I will laugh in your goddamn face.
By the way, where the hell is jezzus? He's late some 2000 years and counting. How about another 2000 years? You sucker.

Christians want to control the world and force people to abide by their rule of law. They want the Bible to be the established rule and make people follow their commandments.
Some Christians are very dangerous and threaten world peace more so than any other religion including Islam. I think the radical Christians may be the greatest threat to world peace as they attempt to convert the whole world.

Only if it involves the strong disire not to have children through that act.
So, an infertile couple having sex is abuse? A couple having sex after one or other partner has been sterilised is abuse? Take away the strong desire to make babies and that's abuse? Oral sex is abuse?
You're not married are you...
