I would be happy enough with the birth control. I am willing to allow the tax breaks, if the religion isn't largely a financial shell game or front for a particular political agenda.

I don't find them "funny," either. The reason why I think they are "sexist" in this context, however, has to do with the reasons why DCP and his pals find them "funny." Ask yourself this: what is the punchline here? At whose expese are the jokes being made? What assumptions have to be made in order to render the jokes "funny"?

People have been teasing him for many years about "Krispy Kremes," and now he hates these caloric, frosted treats with a white-hot passion. If memory serves, he has said that his hatred is "unrelated" to the various jibes that have been made along these lines, so take that for whatever it's worth.
