An example of Kish's seething hatred!

Post by _Elphaba »

To read posts on MD I usually click the bottom of my scroll bar so that I see the thread one window at a time, rather than on a constant scroll. There's probably a technical term for that, but I don't know what it is.

Anyway, suddenly the window I clicked on was this picture perfectly positioned with the caption "An example of Kishkumen's seething hatred," and I about fell out of my chair laughing.

I am fairly new here, and don't quite have the feel of the board yet. So, I hope this cracks you up like it did me, because if it doesn't, then it's hopeless and I'll never fit in.

Well, if you want to defend Joseph Smith marrying a 14-year-old girl, two in fact, when he was 38, then that's your call. And of course you play cheap card, trying to push things off on the blogger when it was Smith who, according to TSCC's own records, married SEVERAL underage girls, and women married to other men. How can anyone defend THAT?

Interesting. The article's up and the sharks circle. He takes it down because of something bad he learned, what it is I don't know, and crickets? I'm glad I'm not Mormon. Never a more hateful, hypocritical bunch.

You know most of us here are not Mormon, right? I mean, there is a mix, but only a few faithful, active Mormons post here. Most of us are apostates, heretics, and critics (oh my!). What do you want people to say? One whackjob exmo surreptitiously records a temple endowment session (allegedly with Mitt Romney in attendance) and tells some other whackjob exmo blogger that he has done so and then that whackjob exmo blogger starts talking about it, then gets cold feet after discovering additional information (which he won't share) about the whakjob exmo who says he has the video and pulls it down. What's there to talk about? Your inability to grasp that we are not a bunch of believing Mormons? Or you inability to comprehend how, if we are critical of the church, we nonetheless don't necessarily want to line up in support of a couple of exmo cranks?

You sound eerily like Chancellor Palpatine in Revenge of the Sith. I actually don't have any anger in my heart. I agree more with Yoda, who said that "fear is the path of the Dark Side. Fear leads to anger, anger leads to hate, hate leads to suffering." No fear here. No anger. Not that I never get angry, of course. Sometimes I do. But I am not angry with you. Not sure how you got that from my post, but I am glad I could clear that up for you.
