Using symbols, metaphors and riddles John describes a series of visions he sees (into the future). Chapter 19 talks about the destruction of the Beast and those who worship it (not in ancient times but in latter days upon Christ's return--read it). How important is it that we learn about the Beast and what it means to worship it? Read the eBook.

Hmmm, isn't it a bit odd that 'the key to our lives' is something written generations ago by an unidentified author.

What if it was written by some youthful pranksters as a bit of a parody which somehow got mistaken for the real deal. Or even on Old World Hoffman....it's possible....

I can tell, you haven't read the eBook. You can discount the Bible, if you like. I would rather try to understand it. There is much more there than you realize. Read the book.

If you have ever watched the action of a nuclear bomb going off, it reminds you of a huge rock thrown into a gigantic lake with ripples going in all directions and the aftermath is as if fire and brimstone is all that is left. Interesting that that image would surface in the mind of some prankster who lived many centuries ago, isn't it? If you had lived at that time and had a dream (vision) and saw a nuclear bomb go off, how would you describe it? Surely you would use images you were familiar with. And that is what John does throughout Chapters 13-19. He is talking about modern times...not ancient...using signs, symbols, images and riddles that meant something to him in his day, describing what he saw. And to what purpose?

And why will a vast majority of Mormons be caught up in that lake of Fire and Brimstone and its aftermath? (By the way, Brimstone is Sulfur and radioactive Sulfur-35 was detected in California's air in increased quantities after the Fukushima Dalichi meltdown in Japan. It is part of the aftermath of a nuclear reaction in sea water [or the Great Salt Lake?] and affects virtually every part of the human body.) If we had a global nuclear war, Sulfur-35 would be a part of the mix exploding in sea water around the world. Read the ebook: THE THIN WALL OF HELL and we can talk about it.

I will send $100 cash to the first person in this thread who can refute and replace verse by verse the explanation or interpretation of the Book of Revelation, Chapter 13 (King James Bible) given in the eBook, THE THIN WALL OF HELL, found at https://www.amazon.com/dp/B008B8H4O8 and thereby provide a more clear, logical, meaningful and precise understanding of what John saw (including Chapters 9, 17 and 18). All you need to do is read the book and post your response here. The deadline is Election Day 2012. If you clearly have not read the book because you are not responding to each verse one at a time, your response will not be considered.

Jesus was a crazy ass drunk. John was a an opium smoker.

Jesus is dead and is not coming back. 2000 years ago the crazy man did his deeds. He's gone now. Good riddance, Jesus.

Perhaps John was an opium smoker. I don't know. You know better than I. But how did he nail our day so accurately. I would be interested in your response after you have read the eBook. Read it. You might be surprised. He describes the hatred coming from the "Church" (Mormons and others like them).
