I think I can speak for myself. :)
The Mormon Dialogue board is a place I seldom post to. I have found that it is expected that you grovel with gratitude at the "corrections" others are so freely supplying.
Two private messages I received were, shall I say, indicative of a type of people who post there. There are a few posters who I honestly like. The rest I wouldn't want to converse with in real life. I don't see the point in doing so online.
I met blueadept once. He is a nice guy.

Take a look at the catholic church in bavaria. It is abysmal. But I wonder how many are still considered catholic by the catholic church?
http://online.wsj.com/article/SB1000142 ... 10654.html
In Germany, where hundreds of allegations of decades-old abuse have come to light since January and engulfed 22 of 27 Roman Catholic dioceses, the Catholic Church faces its worst crisis in post-World War II history. Polls show a majority of Germans believe the scandal has undermined the church's credibility, and recent government data suggest the revelations have sparked an increase in Germans leaving the church, whose membership, like that of Protestant churches, has long been declining.
could be, but at least they aren't missing 1 million, like the momos are. Couple that with the shady way the Mormons reported their numbers on the last 10 year. census, what are they down to 15-20 people now..........LOL Oh wait, you have to add in the 70's.

Wanna talk about the Mormon scandals. Have you seen the thread about the boy scout leaders? How many of them were Mormon?
It is so good you identify as anti-Catholic. The truth will set you free.
by the way: Still waiting on your Romney Proof, and your BY proof. Oh who am I kidding? You can't and won't provide any reference. Because there isn't any.........LOL

You are mistaken. Debate is debate. But on CAF, the mocking of the Mormon church is the problem and has been the problem. But like I said, the moderators are clamping down on it to some extent. It would not be good to bash and mock the faith of the president of the united states if Romney were elected president. Nor would it be good to call Mormonism a cult if Romney were president.
I get it now. It is only mocking if a Catholic does it.
Your anti-Catholic attitude is showing again.

No I'm not mistaken, but it's not surprising since mocking, bashing, and snarking on people is the way of MD&D, it's just best to avoid the nastiness and not post at all. You are, of course, on board with the MD&D policy of ill-treatment of anyone who is not LDS or doesn't toady up by slathering on praise of all things LDS. It is okay to be mean to individuals but not to disparage a "church" unless it's an Evangelical church MD&D posters are particularly nasty toward all things evangelical (I haven't seen a couple of regular EV posters for a while, wonder what happened to them) other churches may fare better but I have seen mocking and bashing of the Catholic church.

Re: The Mormon/Catholic ticket
The point behind the thread is that Mormons and catholics can work together. If people feel otherwise than that is their understanding but not mine. The world is pretty screwed up and people need to confront the real evil in this world and not catholicism or Mormonism. The real evil is somewhere else...somewhere behind the millions of small tragedies with people losing their jobs, homes, life, etc. It is found in hunger and poverty, marginalization, alienation etc that people may be experiencing. This is the real evil.
Mormons, catholics, muslims, hindus, protestants, jews etc can be attempting to work together to make our world a better place to live and grow.
That should be the main goal. But maybe that is idealistic. But with that I will stop posting on this thread. Peace to all.

I intend to lay a foundation that will revolutionize the whole world.

I'm surprised there are posters left who haven't yet invoked the 'ignore' protocol to save themselves from having to read Why Me.
