I've read the "financials"...... You people after all post the links all over the net.
I say your lying because those financials are just that, in's and out's financials. They don't tell everything else that happens with the Church.
The most basic thing you don't get is that because of how liberal the UK has become, the Church doesn't get as much money, thus the Church in the U.S. and the rest of the world is actually supporting the Church in the U.K. So DUH..... The Church is operating at a loss there.
When are liberals and anti-mormons going to learn that "cherry-picked" facts are not the full facts and truth of an issue???
27Mil Tithing, 27Mil Expenditures...... Well holy cow..!!! You MISS A HUGE CRAP-LOAD OF FACTS!!!!
1. You ignore the money the world-wide Church contributes to the U.K. which isn't required to report to support Church operations there, humanitarian aid, etc.
2. You ignore other donated money's, etc.
You people think you're "all about FACTS"..... Fact is, is you IGNORE FACTS to make your bigoted and false claims, whether it's about the Church, Republicans, etc.
And I actually know what I'm talking about, because when I was a bigoted anti-mormon atheist, I made many of the same ignorant arguments, that ARE NOT EVEN TRUTH OR FACT.
They are a little truth used to tell great lies..... Everything you people say, is nothing but perversion of truth and fact.

The Humanitarian Funds that were donated in the UK weren't even spent. If you looked at the financials you saw that. It is especially damning that people in the UK were asked to donate to the fund for the Tsunami relief and the money wasn't even sent to that area of the world!

CFR that the Church donates tithing money from SLC to humanitarian causes in the UK.

It is much higher if you count Fast Offering assistance.
It gives 71.4% of its income to commercial ventures.

City Creek investment vs estimated income from Businessweek article.
CFR on your definition of 'much higher'.

Re: Who gives more?
Well Drifting I don't have a CFR for FO assistance. But I have computed what I think can be extrapolated to a substantial amount.
When I was bishop of a ward with demographics of from some poor, some middle class and a few upper middle class I paid out $40k-$50k of assistance per year.
So let's be conservative and say the average per ward/branch is $20k per year. In 2004 there were about 26,000 wards and branches. See:
http://www.cumorah.com/index.php?target ... tory_id=10
26,000 units times $20k per year in assistance is $520,000,000 per year.
I think that is not and unreasonable estimate for fast offering assistance.
By they way, when I paid out about $40k to $50k per year we brought in about $25k-$30k per year in FO contributions. We ran a defecit every year as did our stake. Our defecit was either made up from other stakes through out the world that ran a surplus or from tithes from SLC.
