What will President Romney do...?

Post by _Drifting »

Last night we found out the answer to this question and this is what Romney committed to:

1. Create 12 million new jobs.
2. Achieve US energy independance within seven years (by 2020).
3. Cut the national deficit.
4. Set up new trade agreements.
5. Get tough with Iran.
6. Repeal the healthcare bill.

(Please can we pin this somewhere so that, in the event of a Romney Presidency we can check his progress against these?)

I would be interested in hearing, from Democrat posters, as to how they think he can achieve all of these interdependently...

Here's what Romney will actually do:

1. cut taxes for the extremely wealthy
2. encourage continued dependence on oil
3. make a lot of noise about repealing healthcare, but actually do very little in that regard
4. whittle away at the social welfare net

I think that's about it. Number one is top priority, of course.
We hate to seem like we don’t trust every nut with a story, but there’s evidence we can point to, and dance while shouting taunting phrases.
