For Fans of Young Earth Creationism . . .

Post by _Cicero »

A friend of mine posted this on Facebook and I thought many of the fine denizens of our cosmic sewer (Bill Hamblin's name for MDB) might enjoy it as well.

This image has been around in the young earth creationist debate for a long time, along with images of kids riding dinosaurs with saddles and bridles, etc.

This is what you get from (or paint for) those who believe that the "Flintstones" was a documentary.

It's a photoshop. Pretty sure it was created not by young-earthers, but by people making fun of them. Oldie but goodie.

There's this part in The Simpsons game (2007) where Bart and Homer have to climb on a dinosaur skeleton in the museum and Bart says, "Hey, it's those bones that Flanders says God planted in the ground to fool us!" I still chuckle at that every time my daughter makes me co-op through that level with her.

I agree that it was created by folks making fun of Young Earth Creationists. (Should have said "photoshop for" instead of "paint for", I guess.)

OK BC, I'll take the bait.

What did this clip have to do with anything on this thread?

Are you a masochist or something?

What did this clip have to do with anything on this thread?

It's at least as intelligent and on topic as any of his other posts.

No. More like a scientist and a Mormon who understands that Mormons can accept all science.
