The link shows what I am guessing is part of the church's add in the play bill, which states; "The book is always better".
That produced a snort-chuckle. They cannot give the book away, yet the broadway production has done smashingly well. Yeah, its real common dilemma for theater goers - "If I see the play first, will it ruin the book"?

Sometimes you see the movie, then read the book. Hope they are prepared for a sad ending. All the good guys die and only the darkened folk who have not kept kosher remain. Oy, no mazeltovs there.
