“There’s no secret stuff,” Beck explained. “There‘s nothing you will find in the temple that you won’t find in the Old or New Testament.”

Can someone give me the reference in Genesis to Adam being the Archangel Michael suffering from amnesia?
And can I also have an Old (or New) Testament reference that shows Elohim and Jehovah being used as references to two distinct beings?
Thank you.

That's the problem with this supernatural stuff, it doesn't really solve anything. It's a placeholder for ignorance.

Ahhh, Beck must have been talking about the potential Old Testament and New Testament - in the state that they would have been in had Joseph's premature death not prevented him from restoring all of the missing plain & precious truths.
Did he omit mention of this? How silly!
Note also that the "Adam the amnesiac archangel" bit need not be in Genesis - for all you know it might have been part of the Sermon on the Mount - something like:
"Blessed is Adam/Michael, for he helped build this planet from Rock and Roll (oops, no, that just slipped out), and pull in the dinosaur bones from other places to fool scientists into thinking that the earth is more than 6000 years old." - and, having had a veil of forgetfulness placed around his memory, has never been given the credit he deserves.

Oh for sure. When I read the Old and New Testaments I always got this 17th and 18th century Masonic vibe. It's like Beck decided to look into apologetics and then only read apologetic material from like 50 years ago.
