Did you even watch it? It doesn't make sense. It isn't supposed to because it isn't literal. Even when I was a true believer and thought there was something valuable in all the mumbo jumbo, I knew it didn't "make sense." To the extent it works at all, it is on a metaphorical, symbolic level.

A new punishment for those who are YouTube fans. I can think of no other reason for hating oneself than wasting 1 hour 18 minutes watching the STUPIDEST video on YouTube.
Great that it is finally public. Sad that it is public. And certainly for Mormon Jesus this is a great loss. Think of how many will get to Mormon Jesus Heaven without having to pay any Tithing.

I intend to lay a foundation that will revolutionize the whole world. Joseph Smith We are “to feed the hungry, to clothe the naked, to provide for the widow, to dry up the tear of the orphan, to comfort the afflicted, whether in this church, or in any other, or in no church at all…” Joseph Smith

The creation story makes sense. And it is impressive. For you it is now mumbo jumbo but when you believed you found it sacred. Good to have empathy for those who still believe and not mock that which they consider sacred. But in our realityTV world, it is difficult to have empathy or respect.

God I forgot how f'n boring that was!
I will show it to my children tomorrow.
I hadn't seen the post-changes (1990?) video before. At least they added music, but still, even more boring.
My son recently went through. He thought it was "strange". I told him it used to be a little better in the old days when we were naked touching, chanting, bowel spilling, and throat slitting.
Mmm. Mmm. Memories, light the corners of my mind Misty watercolor memories of the way we were...

For me it would make more sense and be more impressive if the "tasks" of each day matched up to the biblical version. So which is correct? The Bible or J. Smith's imagination? Ask your bosom and get back to me.

For what? What possible claim could the people with blurred out faces have against Noah?
I thought all the people who have tried to get video of themselves removed from Facebook have failed in their lawsuits. Am I misinformed? Anyone know?

Yep. Your buddies at MAD are pretty good examples of folks who no long have empathy or respect.
He also broke the trust that someone in his position was aware of. And that is even more sad.
The church has no right to complain about "trust." They have their own collective sins of violating the trust of their members. Until they come clean and start apologizing for their past mistakes, "what is good for the goose is good for the gander."
Now. All that being said. I would not have posted the temple ceremony, and I try to be considerate and respectful of my family members who are still active and faithful.

Oh the tangled web of Mormonism and the fantastic claims they make to have the power of discernement and spiritual gifts from on high.
1. Where was the discernment when the bishop had a temple interview with Noah? 2. Where was the discernment when the stake president had a temple interview with Noah? 3. Where was the discernment when Spencer W. Kimball bought fake document from Mark Hoffman with sacred church funds? 4. Where was the discernment when Joseph Smith created the Egyptian Alphabet & Grammar in translating the Book of Abraham?
Clearly, it has been PROVEN that the LDS church claims to have divine inpiration and discernment is a total joke.
My message to Daniel C. Peterson and poor dead Hugh Nibley is that your church is a total lie.
