Have you ever been through the temple, whyme?
I am sorry beastie. I thought that you were pointing fingers at them. Not me. Perhaps I misread your post. Yes, I have been through the temple but this was in the 80's.
All religions believe that the others are wrong. No problem with that. But religions should not be mocked because of their quirks. That is all apart of religion. The jews rock back and forth while wearing special cloths, the penecostals roll around in the aisle and jump up and down shouting praise Jesus, the catholics kneel up the stairs to reach the black madonna in vilnius. etc.
My motto: no reason to mock.
Mr. Why me, are you confessing here and now that you no longer attend the Temple and haven't since the '80's?

Duh...! Where have you been?
I intend to lay a foundation that will revolutionize the whole world. Joseph Smith We are “to feed the hungry, to clothe the naked, to provide for the widow, to dry up the tear of the orphan, to comfort the afflicted, whether in this church, or in any other, or in no church at all…” Joseph Smith

Did you object to the mocking contained in the temple ceremony?

We hate to seem like we don’t trust every nut with a story, but there’s evidence we can point to, and dance while shouting taunting phrases.

But not light cotton. Would it be okay on CAF for people at large to mock the catholic faith? Do you think that that would serve a wonderful purpose? A person's faith is personal and private and devout catholics would not like their faith mocked. What did the Bible say? Do unto others as you would have them do unto you.
If I believed in something that is demonstrably false while displaying arrogant ignorance, then PLEASE mock me.
Thank you.

Furthermore, does he object to the mockery of all religions in the First Vision®?

why me wrote:So, I see no one mocking other faiths. Come on guys, start mocking other people's beliefs. Ummmm...you just can't do it can you? Nope. What a bunch of hypocrites. All faiths have something strange to them. Heck, just look at the habits of nuns. Certainly for a noncatholic such habits look strange or weird. But it is okay...I understand your problem.
It's too bad they can't program chatbots to read the thread in which they are posting. There is a great deal of mocking other religions in this thread, courtesy of the LDS Church and its leaders.

I didn't fall hook, line and sinker for any other belief system or religion. I never paid tithing to another faith system or spent two years walking through dangerous and dirty slums based on untruths that were intentionally kept from me.
Otherwise, I would.
