Then why don't women hold the priesthood and call the shots?
They don't need to priesthood to call the shots. However, many of you can't see this because of liberalism among you. Mormon women are conservative.
I'm thinking Mormon God would disagree with you...

"One, two, three...let's go shopping!" Thomas S Monson - Prophet, Seer, Revelator
I think there is some truth to this. More women than men find it appealing for some reason. It seems there are an awful lot of women with inactive or non-member husbands. I don't want to piss off the feminists, but the TBM women I know take great comfort in the LDS priesthood. They like being taken care of and the church offers a great support system for them. Men in general are more independent, and don't want some third party taking care of them and their family. The church calls this "pride". The Republican party calls it "rugged individualism". Also, since men are given "priesthood power" they have personal first hand experience of what a crock it is.
