Good for you. But stop following him at this point. Don't end your marriage and become a flaming homosexual with a Book of Abraham and Spencer W Kimball obsession. One is enough.

Not that there is anything wrong with that...

He seems pretty happy to me. That's he not a fan of your religion does not mean he's unhappy.

Yes, that is all it can mean to them. My own mom refused to so much as enter my home wher here five grandchildren lived with me and my wife so she could NOT observe us as happy after I got exed for being more correct than all LDS leadership about everything that truly matters.

My active brother and sister were the same way, imagining that I spent my days in sin and misery as they militantly sought to turn everyone against me and knew how well they had succeeded.

Yippie! I can no longer log onto the church website! I've been cut off! Helll yeah! Goodbye you damned church!

Free at last. Just in time for the gay pride march this sunday. Thank you, jezzus.

Today I got a form letter from the COB acknowledging that they received my letter of resignation along with some pamphlet asking me to reconsider. In the letter I got the standard line that they consider the issue an ecclesiastical matter and that my letter was forwarded to my SP and Bishop.

I am trying to decide what my next step should be. Part of me wants to write back and demand no contact and another part of me wouldn’t mind one more meeting before completely breaking contact

The pamphlet was the typical "If you are leaving the church then it must because someone offended you..." twaddle. Then I realized that someone has offended me - Joseph Smith
