I think a highly more likely set of candidates for being "closet gays" would be the sons of Mosiah and Alma the Younger. Note how when the angel visits them that there is no mention of harlots like we learn about Noah's priests. In fact the only mention of travelers at all is just them men. Why would the men travel in iniquity without women if they weren't gay? We never hear of Mosiah's boys having any kids and they sure seemed anxious to get out of starting their families by going on a long mission far far away. And maybe Alma was just "faking it" in the closet after he repented. Someday when LDS inc. starts accepting married gays like they now do temple attending blacks then it'll have to start exploring Book of Mormon history to find hints of closet gays. My vote is for the Sons of Mosiah as the #1 Closet Gay candidates.
