Really this is consiced appropriate on a Sunday???? WTF

Post by _cafe crema »

Cate at FMH posted this disturbing recounting of her bishops lecture.
So Mormon women have to be lectured at church on a Sunday morning about satisfying their husbands needs??? I really can't wrap my head around this. No one I know would find this appropriate discussion for a Sunday service, seriously this discussed on Sunday at church would truly shock everyone I know. The very idea of this lecture on a Sunday is disturbing and that is without getting into the horror in the details of the bishops crap.

I can't believe that there was enough interest for an encore presentation. If anything I would have expected pushback from the first presentation.

Would this be a better solution?

I wonder why the Bishop didn't invite the husbands to listen...

It's inline with Joseph Smith, salacious affairs, polygamy...gotta keep those men from sinning!

Mormon men used to be clever. Redefine sin so it isn't a sin! duh. Now they just give sexual training courses.

I'll summarise the slideshow.

Ladies, if you want your men to stay active shag their brains out. Often.

Ha, ha, that was awesome. For some reason it makes total sense to me, probably because I've recently started watching Mad Men.

Wowza!

I think this sums it up well: "Men may get more duty sex after this talk, but no marriage will have more intimacy, more love, or more joy."

I am all for teaching women and men about sexuality. I even have started a thread about it. LOL But, this was way wrong and NOT the way to do it. The worst part was that there was a kernel of truth surrounded by a bunch of poopoo.
