Because everyone here is Hell-bent on plastering his real name all over the board for some unfathomable reason. I simply added his name into the auto-correct because I couldn't keep up.
If anyone else's real name was bandied about on here with the same frequency that Pahoran's is, I'd program that name into the auto-correct, too.
There is a posting account at MDD called "[deleted]". I suggested that both "Pahoran" and "[deleted]" were accounts controlled by the same person. I was banned before an answer came but since Pahoran is here I thought he might be able to clear up the issue.

MASH quotes I peeked in the back [of the Bible] Frank, the Devil did it. I avoid church religiously. This isn't one of my sermons, I expect you to listen.
It is the ultimate in chutzpah for you to presume to "issue a public apology" on behalf of anyone outside of your claimed (let alone your actual) ecclesiastical jurisdiction.
And yet, there he went, and did it. Wow, imagine that?
Personally, I'd like to issue a big "I'm sorry" on behalf of Pahoran's mean-spirited posting style and the bad rap he give Mormon's when he does so.
That is entirely within my jurisdiction as a decent human being.

Is there not an account at Mormon Dialogue called "[deleted]"?
I'll be in ecstacy when I get a straight answer.

I want to take this opportunity to apologize to the board in general, and Dr. Shades in specific, for doing something I knew was wrong when I did it.
I thought Pahoran's real-life identity was well-known to all and did not think I was giving up a state secret or anything, but I should not have done it anyway. It's like sometimes I just get possessed by an evil spirit or something.
The Holy Ghost was telling me not to hit that submit button. But I did it just the same.
This is what comes of not following the promptings of the Spirit.

Thanks for that, consig. I sometimes have to remind myself that even the bad actors need to be treated with decency.
