Re: Andrew's rebuttal to John Gee
I am puzzled by this continuing story and the tragedy of errors that attempts to shed new light on just the facts from the original length of the Hor scroll.
Andrew's reply is troubling. Doesn't he know that by providing his calculations and measurements that people will be able to check his work?
He would have been better off by just including a couple of vague charts, maybe showing the different ends of several different papyri but not to scale, throwing out a random unsubstantiated number of mistakes Gee made, and then musing about how Egyptologist should not be allowed to comment on mathematical matters. That would allow all of us to quote him as refuting Gee with out having to worry about anyone being able to critically analyze his paper.

"Any over-ritualized religion since the dawn of time can make its priests say yes, we know, it is rotten, and hard luck, but just do as we say, keep at the ritual, stick it out, give us your money and you'll end up with the angels in heaven for evermore."

What's your secret to feeling good, sock puppet? Dressing up like a gay Kid Rock?

Re: Andrew's rebuttal to John Gee
thanx ck for the link-
there is great clarity( following the math process was easy) in andrew/your response to prof gee's methodology and calculations.
i cannot believe he did not have a math expert check his stuff before presenting it.
is it true then the missing part of the scroll is on/about 51cm or 1.67 feet?
and what does prof gee claim it to be?
also how and when do you expect dr gee to respond to your rebuttal?
thanx again

I'm hoping (and expecting) this to soon be made freely available, like the first paper. In the mean time, if anyone wants a copy, just shoot me a PM.

I'm betting that neither do you worship Honey Crisp apples, nor do they make your bosom burn.
The answer to your second question is, I don't know. Never dressed up like Kid Rock, either a straight or gay version. How does doing so work for you compared to eating a Honey Crisp apple?

I'm not sure. I guess I'll have to try it out. Trying to grow a goatee right now. I think I'll need a little "gay eye for the straight guy" help, however. I'm kind of a slob.
