You better watch that. They collect intel to turn into Salt Lake City. If the Scott Gordon incident proved nothing else, it proved that.

Yes: Pahoran's remarks simply underscore the fact that the Mopologists use Facebook for "surveillance." Do you remember back when they thought I was Dr. Shades's old mission companion? I was told by an "informant" that they wound up making this remarkable guess by spying in Dr. Shades's Facebook account. So we have that, plus Trevor "Grease-head" Holyoak's spying on John Dehlin on Facebook, and probably the recent Scott Gordon/MT thing as well. The Good Rev. Kishkumen is very wise to urge caution.

And by the way: I like very much how Dan Peterson is "ignoring" me by continuing to make posts that reference me on his Patheos blog. (Again, I feel urged to wonder aloud, why is "Sic et Non" on Patheos at all? It just doesn't make sense.)

We should also not forget Simon Belmont, the man who worked for LDS Church Security, who created a bogus Facebook page and invited us all to 'friend' him, doubtless so he could gather more intel on us all.

You deliver yourself of this kind of conspiracy-theory nonsense -- and then you wonder why people link you with Scratch?

That's a perfect bit of Scratch-drivel if ever there was any.

But tell me seriously now, Kish. Are you really so unhinged as to believe something so obviously nutty, or are you merely pandering to the worst prejudices of your chosen audience, as you so frequently do?

All I can say is this: his many posts about his so-called "enemies" make him look paranoid. That is not exactly good PR for the LDS Church.

And is that why you submitted a friend request to Dan? So that you could use it for "surveillance?"

Pity he's removed you from his list, isn't it?

So, when Scott Gordon told the New York Times that he had forwarded David Twede's information to Church HQ, you call that "conspiracy-theory nonsense"?

Seriously?

If I had to watch him continue to moan about his many enemies I would consider being his Facebook friend a curse. Being removed from the list could be counted as a positive blessing. I like Daniel well enough, but his persecution complex is tedious.

Two things:

  1. There is nothing "paranoid" about his perception that the worthless Scratch has been carrying on a long, obsessive, almost monomaniacal campaign of cyber-harassment and defamation for years and years; that's a simple and easily demonstrable fact.
  2. And exactly what does that have to do with "the LDS Church?"

I know. It's hilarious, but they seem to be convinced. He got a good chuckle out of it, though.

But hey, someone "passed it on" to Dan and Pahoran so it must be true.

Not nearly as tedious as your arrogant, unqualified attempt at diagnosis. He doesn't have a "persecution complex." The malignant Scratch and his relentless hate campaign is a reality.
