Geez, whatever was Tocqueville talking about, right?
and a representative democracy is called a republic...saying representative republic is rather redundant...but you already knew that.
The US is a representative democracy but its complexity merits the addition of being a constitutional republic or federal republic....all of which are forms of "democracy".
but hey lets split hairs and still wind up with....hair

True democracy is one person one vote, no electoral college, and the people vote on every action of the government, but you already knew that.

It is better to be a warrior in a garden, than a gardener at war.

Some of us, on the other hand, actually prefer a religion that includes some type of correlation with reality.

how would i know something you just made up? (by the way, your definition renders democracy as completely irrational)

CFR (especially the part about no electoral college, and every action)

cause i thought it was a Steel Pulse album

i think James Madison (4th President of the USA)"true" democracy best:
“A popular government without popular information or the means of acquiring it is but a prologue to a farce or a tragedy, or perhaps both”.
(a notion Plato had put forth, and surprisingly if you bother to read Plato on this subject, you may not have to "make up" anymore definitions).

Hmm, D&C13 comes to mind...

I remember being brainwashed as a youth to memorise it... What is this offering that the sons of Levi are going to offer?
Their lives maybe? Christians and Muslims have been waring for years, when is it all going to end? Armagedon?
Population control? Religious Self destruction?

Not entirely sure why America and England are so pally-pally,
Boston Tea-party? Funding wars? International debt?

Maybe it is the Jews? Masons?, Rothchilds? Arms Dealers? Oil companies?

Power, Greed, Money?

Or the end of the old world order and begining of the new?

It's a conspiracy man, the oil companies have got a grip on the government, they're feeding us a bunch of lies, Man.

No, we should not, because our stand for freedom is a most basic part of our religion; this stand helped get us to this earth, and our reaction to freedom in this life will have eternal consequences. Man has many duties, but he has no excuse that can compensate for his loss of liberty".

Nice quote.
Sadly it isn't relevant to the question of why non Americans should have a vested interest in the American Constitution - unless you are trying to say that America is more important in Gods eyes than any other nation.

You're not suggesting that are you?

Every comment made thus far by any apostle or prophet in relation to defending the constitution was their opinion only. Mitt Romney is justified re-implementing Joseph Smith's theocracy.
