You're not suggesting that are you?
of course i am suggesting that! Clearly church leaders are equating the general concept of "freedom" with the US Constitution and that they are divine in their origins. I have not read any church statements about the priesthood holders being the last line of defense for the Queen, have you?

Ah, got it, you're trolling. Again.

and i believe the 1956 quote from McKay (bold type) requires a certain level of commitment from members such as Drifting
So why should non Americans bother about the American constitution?

non American Mormons = because of counsel from Prophets (plural) non American non-mormons = because it is just the better wager, globally speaking.

The United States often does act as if it is the "chosen nation," operating as if the rest of the world is there for its benefit, Drifting. I suppose as the military leader in the world is does create a kind of confidence...much like the confidence exhibited during the days of Empire when Cecil Rhodes could say with a straight face: "To be born British is to be a winner in the lottery of life."

on both counts.
I'm off to Scandinavia, it seems they give a toss about neither the American constitution, nor the Mormon prophet and they still seem to do all right for themselves...

Because I've read your many posts on many topics I know you aren't attaching a funny face to your comments because you are dead serious. But, boy, you really kill me. Sometimes you are just too, too funny. "Better wager, globally speaking",.....damn, that's good. HAhahahahaha.
And in the end, the love you take, is equal to the love...you make. PMcC
