It is a shame that this isn't getting any attention from major news sources. :surprised:
"Any over-ritualized religion since the dawn of time can make its priests say yes, we know, it is rotten, and hard luck, but just do as we say, keep at the ritual, stick it out, give us your money and you'll end up with the angels in heaven for evermore."

It's great that there is a screen shot of MormonThink.com and a link. Just more publicity and I'm sure this will cause the traffic to go up even higher on there.

This part is just hilarious to read (and anyone should be able to see right through it):

Church spokesman Michael Purdy said last week it would be "patently false" to suggest a Mormon would face discipline for having questions about their faith or for expressing political views.

"The church is an advocate of individual choice. It is a core tenet of our faith," Purdy said.

Uh...ok...right.

It just becomes more and more obvious who is running the church these days, and that's the PR Department.

Yeah, but maybe they ought to get someone with PR savvy to take a whack at it. President News Room sucks at it.

Mormon apologetics continues to help members leave LDS Inc.

Had Scott Gordon kept his snitch mouth shut, MormonThink.com would NOT have received so damn much free press.

Not only has his actions hurt LDS Inc by helping to remove current tithe payers and the generations of lost tithes payers, but his actions have undoubtedly help any would be investigator to think twice about joining LDS Inc.

The difference between an apologist and a mopoligist, is the willingness to accept or the ability to ignore collateral damage.
