On top of that the Mormon's own; Lilly Pharmaceuticals(Eli Lilly) Wallgreens(Eli Lilly) and all the people on Pfizer's board are LDS.
I'm gonna need proof on this. Fascinating, if true.

The more I learn about mental illness from painful personal experience with close family members as well as trying to educate myself through study, the more I wonder whether our current understanding of mental illness is somewhat akin to our understanding of physical ailments circa the 18th century (you know, when doctors were still using bleeding out as a favored treatment).
Please note that I am NOT advocating that people shouldn't listen to their doctors or refuse medication. All I am saying is that I believe that it is a vastly more complex issue and IMHO well beyond our current ability to understand and treat it effectively.

One of the things I have learned through seeing approximately** 4 different psychiatrists, and 6 different psychologists (varying from MFT to clinical) over the last one-and-a-half decades is that it can be as much an art-form as a science. Unfortunately, it can sometimes take a bit of trial-and-error before finding an artist that truly knows how to work with the unique medium of “you,” and create something that not only survives, but that truly thrives.
**There's about 2 years of my life that I don't remember much of, which is why I'm not completely certain on the total number of mental health professionals I've seen.

What a good way to put it!

Due to his heartless and unchristian comments, bc needs to donate at least $50.00 to avoid a well deserved eternity in Hell.
BcSpace's comments were indeed heartless, and if we can find something that will help lift Darrick out of his bad situation we should act on it.
But why should anyone believe that any offense is enough for someone to well deserve "eternity in Hell"?
Fair question Kevin. Call it poetic license. Personally, I don't really believe in Hell. I was just trying to talk to bc in his own language. A little humor.
Obviously, I have no influence on wheather bc goes to Hell or not. Actually, I hope he doesn't. I just wanted to point out how thoughtless his comments were and how some God may view them.
This, or any other post that I have made or will make in the future, is strictly my own opinion and consequently of little or no value.

(Moderator Note) There were a number of posts that went way off topic as far as the OP of this thread. Let's try and keep this thread focused on how we can help Darrick, or news on how he is doing. If you would like to follow the other topic generated involving steroid drugs, and the drug companies owned by Church members, you can follow the thread here:
I have good news. I spoke with Derrick not 5 minutes ago and he sounds good. We had a great conversation about how he's doing and the challenges he is facing.
I will be having a meal with Derrick tomorrow. I will send additional information to those who have PMd me.
Unfortunately message boards aren't the best way to communicate and coordinate.
As such, I have created a secret Facebook group called " Darrick Evenson". This is my first Facebook group and I think I've got it set so you can request access.
For those of you not on Facebook, please email me at sethpayne@gmail.com. Much easier for me to navigate than the PM system...
