Maybe there's a fine line between clever and mean-spirited. Or perhaps it's that some people mistake the latter for the former.

Now mean-spirited is where Pahoran truly shines. He may not be the stupidest apologist. Simon Belmont won the crown there. He may not be the most obtuse. Surely stemelbow has that prize. But mean-spirited? Oh, he wins that one hands down. You will not find a meaner LDS apologist out there.
In that, we can envy Pahoran, for he has truly surpassed the field of contenders in one area of apologetics.
