Look, i am sorry that our church recognized the greatness of my nation and not yours, and i am sorry that you are called to defend my nation's "divinely inspired" constitution and not the Instrument of Government or the Humble Petition....but you do not have to be such a sore loser...

If someone in a sacrament meeting makes a statement from the pulpit such as: "I'm a proud American and I love the US", are members allowed to applaud? If one member began applauding, would the others sit quietly and try to embarrass the applauding member into recognizing his faux pas? Or would they also applaud because they would be afraid that other members might draw the wrong conclusion about the loyalty displayed?

i am not sure what you are asking here, i believe applause is generally considered inappropriate in the chapel, but perhaps i was distracted from the following Hymns found in the LDS Church Hymn Book:
#338 America the Beautiful
#60 Battle Hymn of the Republic

#339 My Country tis' of Thee
#340 Star Spangled Banner



i suppose everyone else could possibly use the following from the children's song book:

The nations are " a drop in the bucket",,,, including the US....and I will point out that "God Save the Queen" is included, I believe, in the Mormon hymn book.

We are part of the USA, we are a, 51st State along with places like IRAQ and the Moon!

I am from a Predominantly American ward.
They are all Military or Subcontract to the Military.

The US Military have massive air bases here and 95% of the ward is American... I am constantly bombarded with U'Tards.

Americans who genuinely believe that they are Gods chosen people.

I am sick to death of them.

911 Believers, they genuinely believe that Muslims were responsible.

They are sheep, they all follow orders without questioning, they are the modern day SS, Nazis that think that if they are obedient to their leaders they are not personally responsible for the murder of innocent men women and children.

THE LDS ARE HYPOCRITES!

The church of 'Jesus Christ' of Latter-Day Saints actively advocates and encourages military service...

'Jesus Christ' came to do away with much of the monstrous and vengeful Mosaic law and taught pacifism and love.

It's only the God of the Old Testament who was a warmonger who delighted in bloodshed.
