The ad for FAIR should itself be a red flag to any Mormon who hears it. Why would one need to rely on the opinion of others when one can read the source material for themselves and make up their own mind?

When you think about it, this is just more of the general approach typical of Mormonism, which is essentially that members need to be told what to think, by those in "authority", whether that "authority" be an essentially meaningless Priesthood calling or an advanced degree (or both).

An honest and credible ad would have simply asked one to consider the information on FAIR along with the source material and determine for oneself whether the information in the source material was important to them.
David Hume: "---Mistakes in philosophy are merely ridiculous, those in religion are dangerous."

DrW: "Mistakes in science are learning opportunities and are eventually corrected."

As far as radio ads go in general, it's about what I'd expect. I suspect the most important thing for FAIR is how the ad is received by the people it is intended for...?
