Before he was talking about Romney's disdain for the poor and middle class, his intention to give the rich big tax breaks, and his plan to take us back to Bush-era policies. Now he's talking about Big Bird. Somehow, I don't see this as a win for Obama.
No, before everyone was talking about how horribly Obama did in the debate and how awesome Romney was. The Big Bird thing changes the subject from that to help soften the impact of the verdict that Romney cleaned the President's clock. If people talk about Big Bird for the next few days that is better than talking about how badly Obama sucked in the debate. Then it will be on to the preview of the Veep debate. Then it will be the aftermath of that debate and preview of the next two Prez debates, where the expectations for Romney to repeat his stellar performance will be sky high. I don't think Obama planned this as a rope-a-dope strategy, but there are some (perhaps) unintended consequences that benefit Obama and the Democrats in the down ballot races.
And why does Romney think his sons are liars?

Speaking of the next debate, would it be legitimate for someone to ask Romney how his religious belief that we are in the Latter Days preceding the Second Coming of Christ to the American continent might affect his foreign policy? Do those views impact his approach to the Israeli/Palestinian conflict? Is that a legitimate question to ask a Presidential candidate who was also a missionary and an ecclesiastical leader in his church?

Probably because he knows them better than we do.

Why are you voting Romney?

Because I'd like to be able to get a job when I graduate.
I recommend switching to finance then.
