Schryver/Ludd Drops a Bomb

Post by _sethpayne »

Seems to go along with what some have said here. Unless, of course, Schryver is just trying to pull some prank based on the rumors here...

So, take this for what it's worth. Even if I'm completely "up in the night" on this, you will surely profit from having participated in conference tomorrow.

When I went to open the thread, whose title is "Something "Big" Coming Down Tomorrow", I expected to see another prediction of an upcoming publication by Will.
"Any over-ritualized religion since the dawn of time can make its priests say yes, we know, it is rotten, and hard luck, but just do as we say, keep at the ritual, stick it out, give us your money and you'll end up with the angels in heaven for evermore."

I've been told this so many times in the past that I hope I can be forgiven for not giving it a lot of credence. Sometimes I think they just start these rumors to get people to watch conference.

The best possible news would be William Schryver being called to the First Quorum of Seventy.

He could replace that Democrat rapscallion wolf-in-sheep's-clothing Marlin Jensen.

I might even go back to church if they did that. It would be like having a modern-day Golden Kimball, but filthier and with a bigger ego.

Now that comment about "Even if I'm (Will is) completely "up in the night" on this, ..." is either very imprecise or suggests that Will is making this up.

I could believe a GA could try to create a buzz. I could believe a GA would think that if this 19 year old kid will just watch GC intently, he'll decide to go. I could believe that the 19 year old and/or his father inflating the GA's statement to be as reported to Will.

That could all be disappointing without leaving Will "up in the night".

What I find suspicious is the absence of the name of the GA, which tells me Will has his serious doubts about anything special will happen, and does not want the GA's credibility besmirched by the pre-GC pump.

At best, it will be the announcement of TSM taking emeritus status, and BKP ascending to the Throne. Big whoop. But, for critics, a BKP prophethood will an endless source of fodder. If it happens, no way would any of the rest of them be able to keep BKP's pie hole shut.
