Well, the rumors of the "big announcement" were true!

Reports are now coming in from across the world in response to this momentous revelation from God to his mouthpiece, the living oracle, that Mormon missionary men can serve LDS missions at age 18, and women at age 19!!:

- Syrian loyalists and rebels have agreed to a cease fire immediately.
- president mahmoud ahmadinejad has agreed to suspend all nuclear ambitions and just invited in U.N. nuclear inspectors.
- Israel is removing settlers from the west bank and will begin to send in aid, medicines and will begin reconstruction efforts in the Gaza strip to reinvigorate the Palestinian economy
- The Central banks of The United States, Japan and the EU have agreed to a debt jubilee for the middle class: all debts owned by middle class consumers will be erased.
- Paris Hilton will donate one tenth of her time to charitable giving.

and the reports just keep flooding in. How glorious that a prophet speaks to God on humanity's behalf!
