My wife has read it a couple of times and loves it. She went to BYU with Joanna Brooks.

Do you happen to know if it is selling well? I heard that she initially had to self publish it.

That you've studied her enough to even make this comparison is weird. I think Brooks is attractive and very natural....why compare her to a man?

I have read Joanna's book and I enjoyed it. I love how she just does what feels right for her and her family. She doesn't care that she's not a traditional TBM and never will be.

Droopy, I think you need to evaluate why that bothers you so much. What's wrong with her just taking the parts of Mormonism that give her enjoyment in her personal life?

By the way, I could not make it through your entire blog. The really long, run on sentences gave me a headache and I didn't feel like rereading them over and over until they made sense (mainly because I pretty much knew they still wouldn't make sense). Sorry.

I think it was self published, but that doesn't mean a huge amount in this day and age, since it's so much easier to do so than it used to be and without the stigma. I have a traditional publisher for my main series of books, but there are some things I put out there on my own because they are novella length, or I simply don't have a good enough offer on the table to sign them over yet.
