Biden interrupted Ryan nearly 89 times by some counts. Romney didn't even come close to that. The only way Biden could avoid being totally knocked out in that debate was to break the rules and keep hugging his opponent. If it were a trial room, Biden would have been in contempt of court. And yet again, the Democrat was afforded more time, but Biden left complaining as if he were the victim of not getting a fair amount of time.

I expect a loud and raucous bunch of shouting at this next debate because this last one proves that there are no rules.

Biden did exactly what he had to do: fire up his base.
If that means telling flat out lies, like claiming the embassies never asked for security, then so be it.

I thought it was a stalemate. That's pretty good considering that Ryan at a few times was fending off attacks and interruptions from Martha Raddatz and Joe Biden at the same time. Martha is a big time liberal, after all, and Obama actually attended one of her weddings. I'm sure they all send each other Christmas cards every year.

The double standard is amazing. Obama is polite and doesn't interrupt the deceptions and so aggressive interrupting Romney is declared to be the mighty alpha male.

Ryan is an intellectual midget and child too stupid to notice that his hero Ayn Rand is a self conscious anti-Christ and atheist--a worshiper of heartless selfishness and an all around freak show. Her economic philosophy flows directly from her broader philosophy.

His taste in philosophers is strange for a Christian as is his taste in music.

I don't understand how anyone can even call last night a debate. When one candidate is permitted to talk the entire time the other candidate is speaking, it goes far beyond the sighs and noises.

So what Biden was doing was no different than Romney in the first debate? I saw both debates and I find that level bias unbelievable even for this board or mainstream media.

Maybe that's the only way Biden could save face, but last night was not a debate.

Which is utterly irrelevant to anything that transpired last night. Ryan is a respected policy analyst and expert on budgetary and fiscal matters, and is far more intelligent than 90% of the intellectual (and moral) midgets in this place.

Rand was viscerally hostile to religion, and a severe positivist/rationalist in her outlook. Her understanding of the underlying dynamics of capitalism, however, and the underlying psychological, emotional, and intellectual hostility to it by government and intellectual elites, was also prescient and lucid.

She was right that the state, beyond a strictly limited, highly circumscribed range of powers and responsibilities, is a cancerous, parasitic danger to human liberty itself and every aspect of its flourishing and maintenance.

That's why she is your enemy. The rest of her philosophy would not seem to be anything you would find all the distasteful.
