who the hell is Stacy Dash and why would anyone care who's he/she's voting for?
She was one of the leading actresses in the movie "Clueless."
She's not that big of an actress but just enough so to make it newsworthy apparently and she looks and sounds like an average, reasonable, person. A killer combination in this context. Democrat supporting blacks and other liberals essentially have Swiftboated themselves.

Let's pretend those same disadvantages did not create generational and familial handicaps which were then passed on to children and grandchildren. Let's pretend that now that Jim Crow and segregated schools have been abolished, that those same generational and familial handicaps can be ignored. The magic wand has been waved and they never existed at all!
A lot of people have come from races and nations that were enslaved by other nations. The Scottish never got any special favors from the Britains. The Britains never got any special favors from the Romans. Latin America doesn't get money from Spain and the Germans were treated so badly after World War I it made the entire world worse by causing World War II. Can you think of any other racial group that continues to demand endless payback for the wrongs of many generations ago other than what blacks demand from whites and are at all taken seriously?
What percentage of white people alive and now paying the price of black slavery actually descend from wealthy white slave owners? Guess what, appalachian people don't descend from wealth either. No leftist New Yorker ever offered us any help. In fact, we're the only people who people like Krose could care less about "peoples feelings" with as they hurl their hate terms like redneck and inbred. But we take responsibility for our lives and the situation life has placed us in.
And when the confederates saw Jackson standing fearless as a stone wall the army of Northern Virginia took courage and drove the federal army off their land.

I'm not talking about "endless payback". I'm talking about making an attempt to rectify a past social ill that has resulted in one particular race being handicapped from the get-go.
by the way, what is your justification for claiming that Appalachian people actually take responsibility for their lives while African Americans do not?
We hate to seem like we don’t trust every nut with a story, but there’s evidence we can point to, and dance while shouting taunting phrases.
No one has ever claimed that no racist Republicans exist. No one. The Republican party, however, is an anti-racist party, its conservative base thoroughly grounded in the Constitution, Declaration, and classical liberal (and broadly Judeo-Christian) ideals of equality of opportunity and the inherent potential to succeed and prosper that exists within each unique, free-born, unalienable rights-bearing individual.
Without making this a monograph length essay, I'd like the response of you and any/all other liberals here who wish to comment, what you make of this:
I'd also like a critique of the Huffington Post, a mainstream publication of the Left, vis-a-vis what kind of paper would publish attitudes such as this, essentially as an op-ed, and not as a report, without critical comment.

I am so old that I can remember when most of the people promoting race hate were white.

How odd that such an "anti-racist" party engages in regular race-baiting, in the hallowed tradition of Lee Atwater.

Um, aren't the only people on Twitter famous people and young kids and groupies?

The fact that a convoluted term such as "reverse racism" even exists is an indication of how bizarre a concept it is that an oppressed minority could ever be effectively racist toward the group with all the power. Real racism needs power and authority behind it.
A Hindu in Utah can hate Mormons all he wants, but there is nothing he can really do about it, since Mormons hold all the positions of power where he lives.
