Romney still chose Church over country, and I think if most people knew that it would affect the way they view him as a guy worthy of the Presidency.

So Mitt tries to pull a gotcha on Obama during the debate, and ends up creating one of the greatest backfires in Presidential debate history, and all you folks can do is pull up this imaginative "gold" corrective of Whoopi Goldberg?

The difference should be obvious. Goldberg isn't running for office, trying to gain everyone's trust, and she obviously was open for correction while Romney is trying to be President and thought he was going to be able to get away with lying about what President Obama said in the Rose Garden on Sept 12. I just saw that debate last night for the first time (I heard it on the radio while driving when it was live), and the look on Romney's face when he got schooled was just priceless.

She was stating that people SERVE in different ways, be it Military, Missions, or otherwise, and they ALL are worthy endevor's, and helps create worthy men and women.

A religious mission is not equal to military service in the eyes of many Americans.

But more importantly the Vietnam thing for Romney showed his rank hypocrisy that he'd advocate for young men to go off to war while he went and lived in France.

Obviously some people don't know what a "gotcha" question is.

Let me help you, BC:
A "gotcha" question is a hard question that you assume the interviewee will not be able to answer appropriately. An example would be to ask a candidate to name the leader of some obscure country.

For someone like Sarah Palin, of course, simple personal experience or opinion questions (supreme court decisions disagreed with, or favorite newspapers) turn out to be "gotchas," even though they really aren't, and wouldn't be for anyone else.

This was not a hard question. The answer was either a simple yes or a no, and the person being asked was an expert on the subject.

Whoopi was just asking an uninformed question, not a "gotcha" question. She should get to know Google.
